Nantucket Hedge Fund & CTA Program is the owner of a unique proprietary based momentum-trading model created in 1986. The proprietary trading model rights and now ownership was acquired from CRT Currency Exchange Ltd. The original trading model (CRT) became fully operational in 1989 at which time the service was used by financial institutions in Europe. NHF has significantly altered the trading strategy with a primary focus relating to currency option trading and has produced comparable higher returns while simultaneously lowering risk parameters. Senior management involved in the creation of the model (CRT) have joined the management team of NHF and have over twenty-five years experience in forex, commodity and equity markets around the world.
