TRADING STRATEGY
HiProb utilizes short term strategies and generally holds a position from 6 – 10 days. By analyzing momentum behavior and swing action, the system will buy/sell high probability pullbacks in the direction of the long-term market trend. The system uses price relationships and patterns to identify market conditions when significant short-term price movements are more likely than normal. These systems identify price levels where the market has reversed its short-term price movement and is likely to return to recent price levels. The portfolio’s targeted return to risk ratio is estimated to be two to one. The objective is to deliver returns of approximately 15% per year with a targeted drawdown of less than 10%. Due to the short-term nature of the strategy, position sizes are more easily adjusted to the investment equity level to assist in the risk management process.
